Gone A-Huntin Hyacinths

Another year of change, another turn of the seasons,

life goes on, despite the many curves,

the relentless tide against the boulders.

Waves crash against the gravelly shore,

eroding the rocks, changing the shape of the world,

the endless cycle of nature, the clock keeps ticking,

the show must go on.

Another turn of events in this endless plot,

a strange twist of Fate that spins your head around,

another loss, another gain,

a new direction to face eternal sunshine.

Dawn breaks on a land of mortals,

deteriorating seconds until the ascent to celestial heights,

sunshine reflects off of the evergreen ocean,

and the leaves fall to float on the tide once more.
